School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options
Pay Range: $40–$54+/hour (based on experience and employment path)
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a local school district in the Atlanta, GA area. This full-time position is ideal for both local applicants seeking long-term school-based roles and traveling SLPs looking for rewarding, flexible assignments with comprehensive support.
Position Overview:
You’ll serve students across grade levels with diverse speech and communication needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering therapy, developing IEPs, and collaborating with educators and families to ensure students receive individualized and effective services.

2. Travel Path (W-2 with Stipends):

Weekly gross: $1,800–$2,200 depending on stipends and experience

Hourly pay equivalent: $48–$54+/hour depending on assignment
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose speech-language disorders across K–12

Implement IEP-driven services in 1:1 or group formats

Document session notes and student progress per district guidelines

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and family consultations

Align services with Georgia DOE requirements
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Active Georgia SLP license or pending licensure
-
ASHA CCCs preferred; supervision provided for eligible CFs

Previous school-based experience strongly preferred

Must meet background check and fingerprint clearance
