Speech-Language Pathologist in Athens, AL
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support for preschool students across four schools in Athens, AL. This itinerant role focuses on delivering targeted speech and language services to a mixed caseload of approximately 35 young learners aged 3 to 5 years. The position serves a critical need during a leave period from March through May 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged students (3-5 years) within multiple K-12 school locations.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students with mixed communication needs.
- Travel between four designated schools to provide itinerant therapy services.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and administration to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with established guidelines.
- Report directly to the designated supervisor to ensure continuity of care and performance feedback.

- Valid SLP credentials and licensure to practice in the state.
