A qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 school setting in Atchison, KS. This contract position extends through the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students across various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and state guidelines.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student educational planning.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working as an SLP within a school setting, preferably K-12.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
