Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Central Point, Oregon
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract position within a K-12 school setting in Central Point, Oregon. This role focuses on supporting students with speech and language development across the school year calendar. Candidates with experience in schools are preferred, but those with pediatric or clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain timely records in compliance with school and licensing requirements
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon SLP or SLPA license is required
- Experience working in school settings is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language disorders, CCC certification, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience is a plus
