Speech Language Pathologist in Ashland, OR
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide comprehensive services to K-12 students within a public school setting in Ashland, Oregon. This contract position runs from the start of the school year through June 4, 2026. The role requires in-person work, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities include delivering assessment, evaluation, and individualized therapy to students with speech and language needs across the K-12 spectrum. The SLP will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to develop effective communication interventions tailored to each student's goals and progress. Maintaining accurate records, providing ongoing documentation, and participating in team meetings are integral to the position.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Oregon SLP licensure is mandatory
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings strongly desired
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy techniques accordingly
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams
