Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Arvada, CO
This full-time, end-of-school-year contract opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position based in Arvada, CO, serving a school environment with a caseload that includes mild to severe students across elementary and high school levels. Candidates with active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification are required. Preference is given to onsite professionals, though there may be some flexibility for travel assignments; however, new graduates (CFs) are not considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students with mild to severe speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with educational teams, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Support students primarily in elementary and high school settings, adapting therapy strategies to meet varying needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active CDE certification for Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Experience working with school-aged children, including those with mild to severe speech and language challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a school team.
