Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Colorado
This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-8 students at an onsite location in Aurora, CO. The contract runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with a commitment of 32 hours per week. The role focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to meet individual student needs within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to create daily schedules, coordinate testing, and organize annual IEP meetings.
- Maintain and update speech and language caseload lists for accurate Special Education roster management.
- Provide specially designed instruction through resource room, inclusion, or pullout services tailored to each student’s unique communication requirements.
- Partner with staff and families to support student progress and ensure IEP goals are achieved.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience with at-risk or special education students preferred.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork.
