A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available with a K-12 school district located in Arvada, CO. This contract role runs through the current school year (CSY) and offers the chance to work directly with students in an enriching educational environment serving grades PK-3. Two full-time SLP positions are open, including one focused on overage support.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing therapy and treatment services to a caseload averaging 38 students across four schools
- Delivering individualized speech and language support with no responsibilities for evaluations or report writing
- Working full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in-person
- Collaborating with educational staff to help students meet their communication goals
Qualifications:
- Current certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a valid state license
- Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred; new clinicians with a Clinical Fellowship (CF) are also welcome
- Credential documentation including Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification must be submitted with applications
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or vococational candidates will be considered at this time
This position provides a focused caseload limited to treatment and services, allowing clinicians to maximize direct student interaction without administrative tasks. The role supports student progress within a structured school day and offers a supportive environment for professional growth.
