A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-8 public school located in Arvada, CO. This contract role spans the current school year, providing therapy and support to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 50 students, including 36 with mild to moderate needs and 14 with moderate to severe disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ specific speech and language goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective communication strategies and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) for school-based SLPs.
  • Experience working with K-8 students in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy methods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Location: Arvada, CO

This position involves a 40-hour workweek at a public K-8 school, serving a diverse student caseload with varying speech and language needs. This opportunity offers a dynamic environment to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills.
