Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, CO
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Supervisor position is available for the current school year at a K-12 school located in Aurora, CO. This role is specifically designed to provide supervision to Clinical Fellowship (CF) placements within the district, ensuring professional development and quality support for the CF clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor Speech-Language Pathology CF clinicians throughout their placement
- Provide guidance, training, and evaluation to ensure effective clinical practices
- Collaborate with school staff to address student communication needs
- Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations
- Conduct regular meetings and document supervisory activities
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience supervising Clinical Fellowship placements preferred
- Strong knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology services and K-12 educational settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
