Remote Pediatric Voice SLP Colorado School Contractor
We are seeking a specialized Remote 1099 SLP to focus on pediatric voice disorders within the school setting. This unique opportunity allows you to provide targeted voice therapy and education for students across Colorado. You will work independently while integrating services with school-based health teams. Ideal candidates have voice therapy experience and are comfortable with technology and telepractice platforms.
Responsibilities:

Assess voice quality and function using virtual tools.

Develop treatment plans for voice disorders (e.g., nodules, vocal fatigue).

Deliver therapy sessions focusing on vocal hygiene and technique.

Educate students and staff on voice care practices.

Collaborate with school nurses and counselors.

Document services in compliance with IEP requirements.

Participate in remote IEP and health support meetings.

Create engaging therapy plans using multimedia tools.

Track progress and adjust goals as needed.

Provide training for teachers using their voices heavily.

Offer referrals for ENT or medical follow-up as appropriate.

Maintain licensure and stay current with ASHA guidelines on voice.

Work with choir and theater students needing vocal support.

Ensure confidentiality and secure communication.

Share progress with families and school personnel regularly.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
