A Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-semester contract position in a K-12 school setting located in Arnold, Maryland. This in-person role focuses primarily on providing services to elementary-aged students with diverse needs, including Other Health Impairments (OHI), Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairments.
Responsibilities include delivering speech-language therapy primarily outside the general education classroom to a fluid caseload of approximately 45-50 students. The position requires five full days per week, totaling 37.5 hours, with an estimated start date of February 1st and a minimum commitment of 12 weeks.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license or certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially elementary students
- Ability to manage a caseload of 45-50 students with varying disabilities
- Skilled in delivering individualized therapy outside general education environments
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Commitment to providing in-person services; virtual therapy is not accepted
