Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP licensure or eligibility
- Bilingual Spanish fluency (required)
- Prior experience supporting elementary-aged students (PK-5) preferred
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Culturally responsive approach to student support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students on a caseload of 65
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for varied communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student progress
- Complete documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and consultations as needed
- Support students across diverse backgrounds while fostering an inclusive learning environment
Role Details:
- Immediate start; assignment through May 27th
- Full-time hours, Monday–Friday, 7:45 am to 3:45 pm (37.5 hours/week)
- Elementary (PK-5) population in a welcoming, student-centered school environment
