A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 school setting located in Arlington, TX. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to support students’ communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with students across the K-12 range.
- Strong understanding of educational and therapeutic approaches appropriate for school-aged children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a contract position with a focus on the current school year.
