Details:
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: K-12 Caseload (age group to be determined), SLP conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Requirements – Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Current Texas SLP License through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Current or eligibility for Texas Education Agency (TEA) Speech Therapy Services certification
- Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting as required by Texas school districts
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services, progress, and assessments
- Support student academic and social-emotional growth through effective communication interventions
