A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY) session at a school setting in Arlington Heights, IL. This role is suited for candidates with an Illinois license and certification as an SLP, serving students from early childhood through 12th grade.
Assignment details:
- Contract dates: June 15, 2026, to July 26, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with the first and last day extending to 3:15 p.m.
- In-person position only
- Multiple positions available
- Services provided to students in an educational setting
- Candidates must not use SLPA or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status for this role
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certification as an SLP-CCC or equivalent
- Experience working with preschool to 12th grade students
- Familiarity with ESY service delivery and appropriate interventions
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students during the ESY timeframe
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required
- Attend scheduled sessions in person on-site
This temporary position offers a focused opportunity to support students during the summer months in a contract role. Candidates must verify licensure through the Illinois Professional Educator License Information System.
