Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
- Modify tasks or environments to meet individual student needs effectively.
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing tailored to student requirements.
- Prepare clear, detailed reports following student assessments and observations.
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and accommodations.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to review student progress and identify areas requiring additional support.
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible to hold an Illinois state license for speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
