Pediatric Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Arlington Heights, IL
A K-12 school in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking two licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) for a contract position during the upcoming school year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across a dynamic caseload in a collaborative, multidisciplinary educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to pediatric students within the school environment, including RtI support
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings in compliance with school district protocols
- Manage a caseload of 35 to 45 students, collaborating with a team of 3 to 5 SLPs per school
- Coordinate services alongside special education supervisors and other team members such as school psychologists and social workers
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Illinois Professional Educator’s License (PEL) issued through ISBE
- Illinois state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred and highly valued
Work Schedule and Location:
- 35 hours per week
- Based in Arlington Heights, Illinois
- Contract position for the current school year
