This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position offers an opportunity to provide essential support in school settings across the Lackawanna County and Dunmore, PA areas. The role begins immediately and extends through August 7, 2026, with a focus on covering maternity leave assignments initially and transitioning to serving itinerant students in the spring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services to school-aged children with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining detailed documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive communication strategies.
- Provide services both onsite and through itinerant assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
- Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure.
- Proven school-based experience working with students in educational settings.
- Ability to obtain and complete all necessary Pennsylvania state clearances.
- Reliable transportation to travel between assignment locations.
- Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process.
Additional Details:
- Full-time commitment of 35 hours per week; part-time candidates will also be considered.
- This is an onsite role with no telepractice or VOCO accommodations.
