Qualifications & Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state certification requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
-
Active and valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the PA State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
-
Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (Educational Specialist – Speech & Language Impaired)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates will also be considered
-
Must complete all required background checks, including FBI fingerprinting, PA State Police clearance, and Child Abuse clearance
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
-
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
-
Monitor, document, and report student progress and treatment outcomes
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure cohesive student support
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and district-level initiatives
-
Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school-based speech therapy
