Seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for middle school settings in Apopka, FL, to provide essential speech and language services to students in grades 6 through 8. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, including possible itinerant assignments across multiple schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to middle school students with diverse communication needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences related to student progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a closely related field.
  • Current Florida State License to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
  • Experience working with middle school-aged children (grades 6-8) preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite with possible hybrid flexibility.
