A middle school speech-language pathologist position is available in Apopka, FL, supporting students in grades 6 through 8. This contract role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with the possibility of itinerant work across assigned schools. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 29, 2026.

Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders to support students’ communication skills and academic success. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
  • Current Florida State License in speech-language pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
  • Experience working with middle school-aged children (grades 6-8) preferred
  • Flexibility for possible itinerant service across multiple schools if part-time

This position is onsite with potential for a hybrid arrangement. Full-time schedules consist of 35 hours per week, while part-time is approximately 17.5 hours per week. The role offers a supportive environment dedicated to improving student communication outcomes in a middle school setting.
