A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Florida State License and ASHA CCC certification is sought to provide essential services across K-12 settings. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through May 29, 2026, supporting multiple public school locations. The role offers both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time (approx. 25 hours/week) opportunities, with assignments ranging across elementary, middle, and high schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Potentially serve as an itinerant therapist for part-time positions, traveling between assigned schools.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Valid Florida State license.
- Experience working with school-age children is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
