Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students, with a focus on a 3:1 service model (three weeks of direct therapy followed by one week of indirect services)
- Manage caseload primarily involving therapy services without evaluation duties
- Work with a variety of student needs, including those in Setting III CDC programs
- Collaborate with school personnel to ensure continuity and effectiveness of services across locations
- Commit to onsite presence as required to maintain consistent support during the maternity leave coverage
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid School License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-School)
- Experience or demonstrated readiness to provide speech therapy in school settings, ideally with early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Ability to adapt to varying assignments and schedules within the district's multiple locations
Position Details:
- Location: Anoka, Minnesota (travel to multiple school locations including Brooklyn Center, Blaine, and Roosevelt Middle School)
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Start and end dates vary according to maternity leave coverage needs
- Caseload is therapy-focused, servicing multiple school environments with typical elementary school cases and some specialized placements.
