Anoka, MN – K-12 School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Leave Coverage Contract
A K-12 school in Anoka, MN is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage on a contract basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to work onsite across several schools supporting multiple maternity leave absences. Candidates must hold an SLP license, with preference given to individuals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based SLP experience.
Location:
- Anoka, MN (various elementary and middle schools within the district)
Duration:
- Contract covering maternity leaves with variable start and end dates dependent on specific leave periods
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Caseload follows a 3:1 service model (three weeks direct therapy services, one week indirect services)
- No evaluations required; the role focuses solely on therapy
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and middle school settings
- Manage typical elementary school caseloads including students in Setting III or CDC programs
- Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of services across multiple buildings
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the evaluation team
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- School-based SLP experience highly desirable
- Ability to work onsite and travel between multiple school locations within the district
- Comfortable managing caseload based on a 3:1 service delivery model
