An excellent opportunity is available for a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person services within an elementary school setting in Easton, MD. This short-term contract role spans approximately 12 weeks during the 2025-2026 school year and offers a meaningful chance to support students with diverse communication needs.

Location: Easton, Maryland
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks (starting 2/1/2026)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Elementary school classroom and related settings outside general education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language pathology services primarily outside of the general education environment to a fluid caseload of 45-50 elementary students.
  • Address a variety of disabilities, including Other Health Impairments (OHI), Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Language Impairment.
  • Collaborate with school staff and provide individualized support tailored to each student’s communication goals.
  • Comply with district policies and participate in necessary training and onboarding requirements, including fingerprint clearance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Maryland License/Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an elementary education setting.
  • Ability to work in person (virtual services are not accepted for this position).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a fluid, diverse caseload.

Additional Information:

  • The district will provide support personnel (such as paraeducators or related staff) to assist as needed.
  • Interview process is virtual with a casual format and scheduling is flexible.
  • Contract and onboarding will be completed prior to start date to ensure timely placement.
