Speech and Language Pathologist in Ann Arbor, MI
A 4-week contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a leave in a school setting. This opportunity focuses on serving a middle school caseload and is located in Ann Arbor, MI. The position begins on April 15 and concludes on May 13.
Responsibilities:
- Providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for middle school students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Developing individualized treatment plans in accordance with best practices.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student success plans.
Qualifications:
- Holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience as an SLP in a school setting, preferably working with middle school students.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students and school staff.
- Knowledge of school-based speech-language therapy regulations and practices.
