An opportunity is available for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school setting in Sterling Heights, MI. This contract position involves working onsite three days per week (22 hours total) with an elementary caseload of approximately 25 students in an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting. The assignment is expected to begin as soon as possible and runs through June 11, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students in an ASD classroom environment
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess and monitor students’ communication progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services and student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Possession of full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
- Prior experience working in school settings and familiarity with ASD populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
