The assignment runs from May 1st through June 12th and is based in Ann Arbor, MI. The role primarily focuses on supporting students in grades JK-4 across multiple school buildings, with additional work in a specialized CI program classroom serving 8 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students in grades JK-4 across multiple school locations.
- Implement treatment plans and maintain detailed documentation of student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
- Deliver specialized therapy services within a CI (Cochlear Implant) program classroom.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and school policies.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred.
- Experience working as a school-based SLP, including CFY completion.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple buildings.
- Knowledge of intervention strategies for young children, including those with cochlear implants.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
