Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Recent school-based SLP experience preferred, especially with early childhood populations
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs for young learners
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learning styles and fostering language acquisition in early childhood
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to children ages 3-5 in an ECSE setting
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs
- Communicate with families and caregivers regarding goals and student progress
- Document all service delivery, assessment outcomes, and ongoing needs
- Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in adapting interventions for individual student needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and confidence
