Speech Language Pathologist in Andover, MN

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting. This position centers on providing top-notch SLP services to children ages 3 to 5 in an early childhood special education program. You'll be serving students Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours per week from late August 2026 through early June 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Minnesota SLP license (must be presented with your application)
- Strong school-based or pediatric SLP experience, particularly with early childhood (ECSE 3-5 population)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders for early learners
- Create targeted treatment plans and document progress while meeting the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with educators, other specialists, and families to support student goals and foster a positive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide relevant evaluation and progress reports
- Stay current on best practices and school-based SLP methodologies
