A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support during maternity leaves within multiple elementary school settings. This contract position, based in Anoka, MN, offers a meaningful role serving students with typical elementary caseloads as well as some in Setting III CDC classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services with a 3:1 service model: three weeks of direct therapy followed by one week of indirect services.
- Manage therapy caseload exclusively, as evaluation services will be handled by a separate team.
- Serve across multiple elementary school sites including Brooklyn Center and Blaine during specified leave periods.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster student progress and communication skills development.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP license in good standing.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but open to candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CF); not suitable for SLPA candidates.
- Experience working within an elementary school setting with diverse student needs.
- Ability to adapt to varying site needs and coordinate therapy scheduling efficiently.
