Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions with school districts in the Andover, MA area. This opportunity allows you to play a vital role in supporting students’ communication and academic success while collaborating with a team of educators and specialists.
Requirements
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Current Massachusetts State License in Speech-Language Pathology through the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
-
Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license as a Speech, Language, and Hearing Disorders Teacher.
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred; strong CFY candidates considered).
-
Familiarity with IEP development, IDEA compliance, and Massachusetts state regulations.

Prior school-based experience preferred.
Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

Conduct assessments and deliver therapy for students with speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
-
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
-
Provide both individual and group therapy sessions across grade levels.
-
Maintain detailed documentation of services and progress reports.
-
Provide consultation and training to educators on classroom strategies for communication support.
-
Remain current on best practices, state guidelines, and ASHA standards.
