Qualifications:
- Valid Alaska Certification and licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Credentialed as either SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or licensed SLPAs
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies and timelines
