Location: Anchorage, AK
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: SLP: $52-$60 an Hour; SLPA: $49-$56 an Hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking both a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join a supportive school team in Anchorage, AK. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders, while the SLPA will provide therapy services under the supervision of the SLP, following individualized treatment plans and supporting student progress.
Key Responsibilities – SLP:

Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings
-
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
-
Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
Key Responsibilities – SLPA:
-
Deliver therapy sessions designed by supervising SLP
-
Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized records
-
Support student communication goals in the classroom

Provide feedback to the SLP regarding student progress

Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times
Minimum Requirements – SLP:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active Alaska SLP license or eligibility
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs considered
-
Prior school-based experience preferred
Minimum Requirements – SLPA:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field

Active Alaska SLPA license or eligibility

Experience working with school-aged children preferred
