Provide professional speech-language pathology supervision in a K-12 school setting located in Los Angeles, CA. This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for a qualified SLP currently on assignment who can oversee an SLPA, ensuring quality care and adherence to practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise an SLPA for a three-week period from December 1 to December 18, focusing solely on oversight and professional guidance.
- Monitor client caseloads and provide ongoing support to maintain compliance with school and district policies.
- Collaborate with educational staff to ensure speech-language services meet student needs.
- Maintain documentation related to supervision activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Experience working in K-12 school environments.
- Knowledge and certification as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Ability to provide effective supervision and mentoring to an SLPA.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
