Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Monroe, VA
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is based in Buena Vista, VA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade across four schools with potential consultative responsibilities at additional locations. The role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of 30-40 primary and 20-30 secondary students within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to students’ unique communication needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with academic goals and state regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in virtual panel interviews and adapt to virtual onboarding processes as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP licensure is required.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within school or healthcare settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and ability to provide remote services.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is accepted.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
