Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Kansas SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school-based SLP settings, with particular interest in early intervention, elementary, or secondary levels
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with educators and families
- Ability to provide evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver direct and consultative services
- Comfortable with hybrid service delivery models
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to assigned caseload (infant/toddler, elementary, or PreK-12th students depending on assignment)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and support family/teacher communication
- Manage documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with Kansas and federal regulations
- Offer flexible service times, including potential for one evening weekly if working in early intervention
