A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school in Alvin, TX, supporting a K-5th grade caseload. This contract position offers a hybrid schedule with 40 hours per week, providing a balanced work approach suited to your professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K-5
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students based on their needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience as an SLP within a school setting
  • Credentials such as SLP-CF (Clinical Fellowship Year), SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), or SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload and work with children from various backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
