Position Overview:
A K-12 school district near Alplaus, NY has a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) vacancy that they are trying to fill ASAP. Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with the district to find a qualified SLP that is available for the duration of the 2025-2026 school year.
Position Includes:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide individual and group therapy.
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication in the classroom.
- Maintain documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance with NYSED regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active New York Speech-Language Pathology License *required
- Active New York State teaching certificate in Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSL or TSHH) *required
- Prior school-based experience *preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
