A temporary contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student needs in a school setting from July 6th through July 30th. This role is located in Bangor, Pennsylvania, and offers consistent hours Monday through Thursday during the contract period.
Key qualifications and skills:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in school environments
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement speech and language interventions tailored to student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students based on established goals
- Monitor and document student progress regularly to adjust therapy plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to support student success
- Maintain compliance with school and state speech-language pathology guidelines
