Speech Language Pathologist Roles | School Based SLP - CCC or CFY | Full Time Contract
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a well-regarded school district in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and we are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join the team for the upcoming school year. This contract offers a stable weekly schedule, strong multidisciplinary support, and a competitive pay range of $42–$46 per hour, depending on experience. We are looking for a practitioner who brings clinical expertise, clear communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping students strengthen their communication abilities.
As an SLP working in a school setting, your daily responsibilities will revolve around supporting students with a wide range of communication needs. This includes conducting evaluations, developing IEP-driven therapy plans, delivering direct and indirect services, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with educators, families, and related services teams. You will help students develop expressive and receptive language skills, improve articulation, strengthen social communication, and access academic content with greater confidence. Your role contributes directly to student success and engagement, making you an indispensable part of the school community.
Candidates must meet all state and federal requirements for employment in a school-based SLP position. This includes holding a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, completion of a clinical fellowship or possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), and an active Pennsylvania SLP license issued by the State Board. School-based experience is preferred but not required, and candidates must satisfy all state background checks, clearances, and district onboarding protocols.
