An opening is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-12 school setting from January 5, 2026, through April 3, 2026. This contract position is located in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, and involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a caseload of approximately 60 students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP License is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings with children in grades K-12 highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans in compliance with state guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings for students
- Develop and deliver evidence-based therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Complete documentation and maintain compliance with all regulatory and district requirements
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
