Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Allentown, Pennsylvania
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Allentown, PA. This onsite contract role supports students across all grade levels during the 25/26 school year, with an immediate start date extending through June 2026. The position involves a 37.5-hour workweek, providing services primarily to students with Autism and utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Utilizing teletherapy techniques as needed to complement onsite sessions.
- Managing caseload documentation and compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist License.
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency with AAC devices and familiarity with Autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong skills in both onsite and teletherapy service models.
