A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary students in Allen, TX for the remainder of the current school year. This school-based role involves working primarily with a K-5 population, providing evaluations and managing IEP paperwork to support individualized student goals. The position is contracted through the school year (CSY) and requires an immediate start within 1-2 weeks from the job offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff during ARD meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state regulations
- Provide direct therapy services to students in the school setting
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas state license for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Valid fingerprint clearance for working in Texas schools
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with ARD meeting processes and IEP development
- Availability to begin work immediately for the current school year
