A K-12 school in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the contract school year (CSY). This onsite position offers an opportunity to work directly with students across all grade levels, supporting their communication development in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills across a variety of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
