A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (VASLP) is needed for a full-time contract position serving K-8 students in an itinerant role throughout Alexandria, VA. This onsite school-based role involves covering extended FMLA services across multiple schools in the district, providing critical speech therapy support during the school year.
Location: Alexandria, VA (Itinerant within district school sites)

Duration: January 5, 2026 – June 25, 2026
Schedule: Full Time, approximately 36.25 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- Valid and active Virginia SLP license (VASLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school settings with K-8 students
- Will consider experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with appropriate credentials
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Travel to various school sites within the district to provide therapy services as needed
