Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Alexandria, VA
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role in Alexandria, VA. This contract position is for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year, and the district is actively interviewing qualified candidates.
Position Overview:

Full-time, onsite position

School-based contract for the new academic year

Opportunity for contract renewal based on performance
Responsibilities May Include:
-
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student development
-
Document student progress and maintain up-to-date service logs
-
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on student needs and progress
Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Must meet all state and local certification and regulatory requirements
-
Experience with special education populations strongly preferred
