Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Alexandria, Louisiana

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 public school setting in Alexandria, LA. This is an on-site contract role supporting a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The assignment requires dedication to the educational development and communication needs of school-aged children within a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Complete evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Deliver therapy in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in meetings and contribute to program development as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid State SLP License
- State Teaching Certificate appropriate for school-based services
- State Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location:
- Fully on-site role based in Alexandria, Louisiana
Benefits and Compensation:
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $45 to $50 based on experience and specialty
- Weekly pay via direct deposit
