Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Albuquerque, NM
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time school-based positions in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Compensation Packages
Local Candidates (Albuquerque area):

Hourly Rate: $41 – $47 per hour

Consistent school schedule with guaranteed hours

Weekly pay via direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation for assignment):

Equivalent Hourly Rate: $51 – $61 per hour

Weekly Take Home: $1,400 – $1,700

Compensation structured with a low taxable hourly wage, supplemented by tax-free housing and meal stipends

School-Based SLP Job Duties

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels
-
Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
-
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with district and state standards
-
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
-
Maintain detailed records of student performance and update treatment plans as needed
-
Ensure compliance with IDEA, district policies, and other applicable regulations
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Active New Mexico state license (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFs with supervision may be considered
-
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
-
Knowledge of IDEA and other federal regulations related to special education services
-
Ability to pass background checks and school/district credentialing processes
